A mysterious machine with an evil history is found inside a tenth century castle in the present-day Champagne region of France. Count Divange discovers that it is the mythical talking head of Silvestre the Second, the Pope of the year 1000, who was also know as the pope magician. The author
Miguel Ruiz Montañez was born in Malaga in 1962 and lives in Spain. His first novel, The Tomb of Columbus, sold over 100,000 copies in his home country, and was translated into 11 languages.
